Day Trips

Goldfield Ghost Town, an Old West half day.

Goldfield is a rebuilt 1890s mining town on the Apache Trail, just outside Apache Junction, with the Superstition Mountains behind it. Kids love the gunfights and the little train, and adults enjoy the mine tour and the views. It is an easy half day from Scottsdale.
