Things to Do

Free things to do in Scottsdale.

A group trip adds up quickly, so it helps to know which days out cost nothing. Scottsdale and the towns around it have more free outings than most visitors realize, from gallery evenings to desert sunsets. Here are the ones we would put on the list.

Free outings

And at the house

Some of the best free hours of the trip are at home. Paradise Reserve has six bedrooms for up to 16 guests, five of them king suites with their own bathroom, plus a pool and spa, a golf simulator, a putting green and a pickleball court. Events and parties are not permitted at the house, and quiet hours apply. To share costs fairly, see how to split the cost of a group house.
