A 3-day corporate offsite agenda for Scottsdale.

Most offsites fail in the agenda, not the venue. Too many sessions and the team is exhausted by day two; too few and nothing gets decided. Here is a sample three-day agenda for a leadership team of eight to sixteen, built around a private house in North Scottsdale.

Making each block work

  • •One goal per session: write the decision you need on the wall before you start.
  • •Working rooms: use the dining room for a round-table session and the great room for presentations.
  • •Team time with a purpose: see team building in Scottsdale for ideas that are not trust falls.
  • •Dinner: book a private room ahead. See booking a group dinner in North Scottsdale.

Logistics

Phoenix Sky Harbor is about 25 to 30 minutes from North Scottsdale by car (estimate). See getting from Phoenix airport. Paradise Reserve has six bedrooms for up to 16 guests, five of them king suites with their own bathroom, plus a pool and spa, a golf simulator, a putting green and a pickleball court. Events and parties are not permitted at the house, and quiet hours apply. A working retreat is the right use of the house.

For the planning timeline, see our corporate retreat planning checklist, and for a leadership-only group, an executive retreat at a private estate.

Frequently asked questions

How long should a corporate offsite be?

Two nights is enough for most teams of 8 to 16: one full working day plus two half days.

What should a corporate offsite agenda include?

Focused working sessions with a clear goal, structured team time, shared meals and a closing session that assigns owners to each decision.

Can we run working sessions at Paradise Reserve?

Yes. The dining room and great room work for sessions, and the house is booked as a whole, so the team is not sharing it with other guests.

Check-in and check-out times from the Paradise Reserve FAQ. Drive times are estimates.
